#arghgroupframe is a participatory piece that was formed as a collaborative project with the group argh.* The collective’s work is linked to the public sphere and public meeting spaces in particular. The idea was to design a postcard from which a square (the most common central meeting place in western cities) would be missing. In this way, the person who received it by mail, would be able to place something of importance to them inside the square space, photograph it and post a picture of it on social media, thus engaging in a kind of mail-online game.
A limited edition of 100 postcards were made for the purposes of the project, which was designed in Athens and executed in Estonia, where we spent three weeks as artists in residence in MoKS art space.
The project was presented, along with other work produced while in residency, in MoKS project space Open Studios.
